Teaching a child to swim is one of the most important services we offer and we are proud to have taught hundreds of children to swim.

We offer various options for children’s swimming lessons:

Private Lessons

Children's swimming lessonsEnjoy a one to one lesson with one of our qualified swimming instructors.  Leave your contact details at reception and one of our instructors will contact you to arrange a time to suit you.

The cost is £22.58 for a half hour lesson, although you can save money by buying a block of 5 lessons for £107.50 or save even more and purchase a block of 10 lessons for £204.00.

Term Time Lessons

These lessons run on Tuesday 4.30pm and 6pm, Thursday between 4pm and 6pm, and Saturday between 9am and 11am.  These include non-swimmers in the learner pool and advanced swimmers in the main pool.  Each course operates parallel to the current school term, consisting of either 6, 7 or 8 weekly half hour lessons.

We ask that children are at least 4 years old before they begin to swim, although you are welcome to put their name on the waiting list before this date.

Once your child has been allocated a space on a course, you are given priority when re-booking for the next block of lessons.  A place is guaranteed providing you pay the full amount by an advised date.

School Holiday Intensive Lessons

Give your child a head start in swimming with an intensive course of swimming lessons during the school holidays. Lessons have no more than 7 children and are run by fully qualified and very experienced swimming instructors.

Intensive lessons are an ideal way of giving your child a head start in swimming before attending with their school. It also offers the opportunity for children to improve quickly and to move up the waiting list for term time lessons (the waiting list is usually longer for beginner swimmers).

Vist our school holiday activities page to find out the dates of the next course.
