I approached Aidan as soon as I returned home after a full knee replacement as I understood that soft tissue massage would aid my recovery. He started the therapy as soon as I had confirmation I had no symptoms of a dvt, which he insisted on. From the outset it was apparent he had an encylopaedic knowledge of the body and muscle groups.  He had a very professional manner and proceeded to work on my leg and, although sometimes uncomfortable, he always applied the necessary pressure to achieve the desired effect. The impact was immediate and I walked out of the sports centre with less of a limp than when I went in. We proceeded with weekly and, eventually, fortnightly treatments because I could see the impact his soft tissue massage was having on my recovery. There is no doubt in my mind that Aidan’s efforts have greatly helped in my rehabilitation and I would recommend him to anyone requiring this sort of treatment.

My first SST session was remarkable. Aidan identified and explained the sources of my shoulder pain and restricted movements and worked on these areas. He was diligent and kind, explaining the physiology at every stage. Now, after many years of difficulties, movement is beginning to retur. I am now able to move more freely and each SST session has resulted in an improvement. With suggested regular exercises, my shoulder has continued to gain flexibility and the pain has diminished significantly. With improved shoulder movement and less pain I am delighted to be able to do a few lengths of front crawl again. Thank you Aidan.

I had been suffering with a frozen left shoulder for 18 months. It was very painful and affecting sleep, I pursued help through the local Health Centre, their physiotherapist, a Cowes Chiropracter clinic and none of these made any difference. I was advised to try Aidan at West Wight Sports Centre and after four weekly visits he freed the muscles and I now have no pain or discomfort at all so I thoroughly recommend the service he provides.

Following a shoulder dislocation whilst skiing, I eventually connected with Aidan several months after the injury as substantial muscle problems were lingering and impeding my rehab.

I was impressed by Aidan’s knowledge of human anatomy, that allowed him to quickly identify which muscle and tendons were giving me grief. Through stretching and massages, the spasms got eventually under control and proper rehab could resume towards rebuilding all the shoulder muscles. My eagerness to train lead to some setback by overdoing rehab and once again Aidan helped me by treating the areas I overworked.

It is clear that Aidan is passionate about understanding the mechanics of the human body and his knowledge on how each muscle work and is attached to the bones is second to none. That, in return, allows him to diagnostic pretty precisely what is not working right. We are lucky to have him in the west wight.
