Our Rookie Lifesaving courses are restarting!
Commencing a 7 week course, Saturday 7th September until 19th October and will cost £60.70 for the whole course. Designed for children aged 8 and above, sessions will run every Saturday at 11am for a 1 hour session. This course is designed to teach self- rescue and casualty rescue techniques such as towing, safely entering the water and more. Children will learn CPR along with basic first aid with all the work covered going towards a full RLSS Lifeguard qualification.
Rookie Lifesaving have Bronze, Silver and Gold stage awards available to complete with different skills learnt at each level. This course is for those who have no previous experience and who have attended prior courses or already have some knowledge.
Children participating must be able to swim at least 50 metres and tread water. Please bring along an old t-shirt to wear over your swimwear in the water.
