Couch to 5k

Join us on this tried and tested, popular programme which is designed for beginners to gradually build up your running ability, so you can run 5k without stopping.  The 9 week ‘Couch to 5k’  programme is delivered in partnership with West Wight Community Running Group.  Sessions are FREE and will run every Saturday morning at 9am.

Our next sessions will begin: Saturday 11th September (8.45 meet for registration)

5-10k

Once you have completed the Couch to 5k, if you feel you need that extra support/motivation to help you achieve a bit more, join us for our 5-10k programme. You will learn how to warm up and stretch to prevent injuries, as well as learning to strengthen. The 9 week ‘5-10k’  programme is delivered in partnership with West Wight Community Running Group.  Sessions are FREE and will run every Saturday morning at 9am.

Our next sessions will begin: Saturday 11th September (8.45 meet for registration)

These programmes are a great way to help you train for: 

  • Isle of Wight Festival of Running
  • Race for life
  • Park Run
  • General health and fitness

Please bring/wear appropriate running gear and trainers.
