Strength for Menopause is a six-week course designed for women during perimenopause and menopause, focusing on the benefits strength training offers. From helping to protect bone density and preserve muscle mass to supporting mental wellbeing and reducing anxiety, building strength can play an important role in looking after your health during this stage of life.
Six-Week Strength Training Course
Join us for a six-week course designed to help you build confidence, strength and understanding in a relaxed, friendly and informal environment.
Tuesdays, 2:00–3:00pm
29 September; 6, 13, 20 and 27 October; 3 November
£66 for six weeks
Over the six weeks, you’ll explore a range of strength exercises, both with and without weights. The sessions will give you the opportunity to learn and practise exercises at your own pace, while building a better understanding of how strength training can support you through perimenopause and menopause.
You’ll also look at nutrition during menopause and how supportive nutritional choices can complement your strength-training routine.
By the end of the course, we hope you’ll feel more confident performing the exercises, better equipped to continue your strength-training journey, and more empowered to navigate some of the changes and challenges that can come with perimenopause and menopause.
Whether you’re new to strength training or looking to build on what you already do, this course offers a welcoming space to learn, move and get stronger.
