Talented local harpist Merlynna Johnson enchanted a group of West Wight locals at The Bay Boutique Bed and Breakfast on Saturday as part of the annual A Day at the Bay celebration.

This charity event saw almost £80 being raised through sales of morning coffee and homemade cakes while people enjoyed the harp recital.

Paul Mocroft, proprietor of The Bay Boutique Bed and Breakfast said:

‘We’ve supported A Day at the Bay since it started and it was a pleasure to welcome back Merlynna to raise funds for West Wight Sports and Community Centre. Having the sounds of harp music fill the air is magical and to know we’ve helped support such an important part of the community made the coffee morning even more special.’

A big thanks to The Bay for their continued support of West Wight Sports & Community Centre. If you wish to find out more about this wonderful local B&B, please visit their website by clicking here.
