Some of you may be missing working out, whether it’s in the gym or one of our classes, and we’re certainly missing seeing you all at the Centre. While there are perhaps other priorities during a pandemic, working out to maintain routine, as well as your physical and mental health, is still a vital part of many people’s days.
It’s great to see so many of you joining us on Zoom for our online classes and we continue to welcome anyone else who wishes to join us (it’s never too late); however, we are also aware that online classes don’t work for everyone – whether it’s the time of day, lack of suitable device, lack of wifi, or maybe it just isn’t you (although don’t rule it out until you’ve tried it, as we’ve spoken to lots of people who said it wasn’t for them and now having tried it, they do multiple classes a week). With that in mind, we have created (and will continue to create more) Home Workout sheets, which provide you with a workout you can do at home with limited space and time, and with no equipment (although you can always find some items around the house to add weight if you want to – we’ve seen all sorts of weight options on Zoom during lockdown!).
These are available to members – all you need to do is email Shannon at firstname.lastname@example.org and let her know whether you’re looking for high- or low-intensity (or both) workouts, and she’ll send through some Home Workouts for you to try in the comfort of your own house or garden.
