Red Cross are offering FREE 2 hour sessions on Everyday First Aid – Which is simple, easy to remember and fun. The sessions are aimed to give everyday First Aid to groups of people who may be more at risk of a first aid emergency. These groups include the over 65 age group as well as their friends, family, carers, and volunteers involved in the care of the individual.

Louise Fay, Service Coordinator, explains more…

Our aim is to raise the confidence to act in an emergency. As well as learning skills such as what to do if someone is bleeding, has a head injury, choking, breaks a bone, has a seizure, stroke or heart attack etc. we also talk about what stops people from helping, and find ways to overcome this.

Our team is friendly and sensitive to the needs of the group. All participants receive a skill pack as reminder of the session as well as a certificate of attendance on request. We can deliver to group sizes up to 15 people with a minimum of 5-6.

If this something you might be interested in, Louise would be very happy to chat further. She can be contact via email or phone her direct on 07764 444152.
