C.O.O.K Project – Creating Opportunities in our Kitchen
Thanks to grant funding from WightAid and the Big Lottery, we are developing a volunteering and work experience programme for young people, adults with learning or mental health difficulties, and those returning to work.
We can offer hands-on learning in our busy community cafe under the supervision of our catering supervisor. Topics being covered include food hygiene, cooking and preparation, cleaning, serving, cash handling, menu planning and waiting.
We will also be working with Michele Newton of Four Seasons Cookery Academy.
