Do you want to improve your health and fitness? But not ready for fitness classes or the gym?

Then join our new FREE Walkfit sessions every Tuesday Morning

Discover the West Wight by foot, on these dog friendly walks which are suitable for all abilities.  They will be led by Steph Hickman, one of our fitness instructors.

Walks include Fort Victoria, Tennyson Downs and Newtown Trail.

Programme

14 November – 9.15am at Moa Place car park – Western Yar Estuary

Circular walk can be muddy if wet, boots advisable

21 November – 9.15am at Hampstead Drive 

Some minor roads, fields and muddy if wet.

28 November – 9.15am at Moa Place Car park – WWSCC, Fort Victoria (circular)

Circular walk. Some minor roads. Can be muddy if wet.

5 December – 9.15 at Moa Place Car Park – WWSCC, Tennyson Down, Freshwater Bay

Some steep climbs. Can be muddy if wet. Minor roads.

12 December – 9.15am at Colwell Common – Freshwater Bay

Very muddy when wet, boots advisable

9 January – 9.15am at Car park in Mill Road, Shalfleet – New Inn pub following Newtown trail

Can be muddy if wet

16 January – 9.15am at Quarry car park behind Highdown Pub – Tennyson monument – Freshwater Bay

Some minor roads. Fields and muddy if wet.

23 January – 9.15am at Colwell Common – Headon Warren

Can be muddy if wet

Please wear suitable footwear and clothing.

Notify leader of any health conditions.

Cancellation will be considered if adverse weather is imminent. Check with WWSCC or Steph on 07570 064324

Transport to locations can be arranged – ask if you require transport to meeting points.

Ensure dogs are sociable.

Dogs must be kept under control and cleaned up after.

Follow the Countryside Code when around livestock and on farmland.
