Needles Half Marathon logos 2016

Our Needles XC Half Marathon is one of the toughest and most scenic half marathon’s in the country.  The 13.1 mile route will take you over downs and heathland, past historic monuments and of course you’ll glimpse the most iconic landmark on the Isle of Wight – The Needles.  But don’t take our word for it.  Here’s what some of the runners from 2015 had to say about it….

“It was the best running event ever – such a great route…..i’m already looking forward to next year!”

My favourite race, love it”Needles Junior Fun Run

“A totally amazing route”

“Last weekend I ran the Needles XC half marathon. It was a fantastically well organised event with a difficult course to marshal with all the twists and turns of the multitude of footpaths. Congratulations from a visitor from South Africa.”

And it’s an event the whole family can enjoy! Our Needles Junior Fun Run takes place at 10am and is open to youngsters aged 4 to 11 years. Click here to find out more
